CONVERSIONS
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can convert PAL tapes in several ways:

* Pay about $15-$20 to a local conversion house
* Buy a PAL/NTSC multi-system VCR that outputs an NTSC signal
For example, the Samsung Worldwide SV-5000W ($400 at Vanns.com)
* Find a list friend to help you. There are a number who can.

DVDs use region coding *and* PAL/NTSC. Unless you own a region
free, multi-system DVD (like the Apex 660-AD, $99 at Sams Clubs)
you can only watch movies from your own system and your own
region.
