6/25/03 - Review of "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead," from Screen Daily's reporter in Moscow. (Not good) Thanks, Alice 5/7/03 - From BritFilms.com -- a mini synopsis of I'll Sleep When I'm Dead and a new picture (Photo: Keith Hamshere) -- Thanks, padawan from Malcolm McDowell's web site.
4/15/03 - A quote from Clive on Mike Hodges thanks to Alex's Malcolm McDowell site: "There tends to be a lot of fussiness in modern filming. Mike Hodges loves to strip that aspect away, to keep things simple. And that's the way I like to work too. His way of filmmaking makes the story far more moving and powerful." 3/20/03 -- From Seven Arts International: "Regarding the status of “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead”, we have just finished post production on the film and we are indeed showing it to representatives from the Cannes Film Festival. We are hoping to get accepted into the main competition at the festival which takes place in Cannes, France from May 14-26. Keep your fingers crossed!!" 3/20/03 - From the Malcolm Malcolm McDowell web site with thanks: "Malcolm and his wife Kelley are attending the Paris Film Festival March 24 - April 1, 2003 where Malcolm will be the Jury President. The reason for this is that someone who runs it saw I'll Sleep When I'm Dead and said it is the best film they have seen in five years. Most of the people who made the film or are in it will attend the festival and see the film for the first time including Clive Owen, Mike Hodges and the producers. The word is that in the biggest scene Malcolm forcibly rapes Jonathan Rhys-Meyers....ouch! Let's hope it isn't that graphic and is more implied than shown." 1/30/03 - Preview
