She's top of the list when it comes to the most successful females in Hollywood and he's the hottest actor around. So what better way to make my acting debut than on set with two such megastars? This week I made my long-awaited leap onto the big screen, joining Julia Roberts and Jude Law as they shot their latest blockbuster Closer.

OK, it wasn't exactly a starring role but it was a great insight into the magic of movie making. The scene was set in an art gallery as Julia's character, photographer Anna Cameron, exhibits her photographs. Strategically placed between chatting couples Jude and Natalie Portman and Julia and Clive Owen, I was determined to make the most of my small role, getting into character.

For a moment I was rich kid Paris Hilton in search for a suitable work of art for my Soho loft apartment. When the movie is released I won't be holding my breath as I try to spot myself. Blink, or should I say, squint and you'll miss me.

To shoppers' delight, the filming took place in the unlikely location of Whitley's shopping centre in Notting Hill. Let's face it, it's not everyday you bump into Hollywood's hottest stars while popping out for your weekly groceries. One poor lady looked as if she was ready to faint when she spotted handsome Jude. At least if she had fallen to the floor, the bumper pack of Andrex under her arm would have softened the blow.

For everyone on set, it was also the perfect opportunity to watch the handsome and talented Mr Law in action. How my fellow female extras swooned. There were no megastar tantrums as Pretty Woman Julia took the time to chat. She even goofed around as she used her long blonde hair to form a moustache.
